Kavita understands the complexity of anxiety and OCD related challenges and how they impact not only the client but also their loved ones. She has worked with individuals to address contamination-related concerns, harm-related intrusive thoughts, religious preoccupations, and feelings of perfectionism. In addition, Kavita helps clients learn to be more self-compassionate when distressed while learning strategies to manage their OCD symptoms.

Kavita uses a variety of evidence-based interventions depending on the needs of the individual. These interventions include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness.

Kavita also offers couples therapy using a humanistic approach. This involves  identification of the strength of the couple and provides practical solutions that allows for individuals to move forward in their relationship.

Kavita is a lifelong learner and continuously engages in professional development to provide the best support for her clients.

Kavita’s goal is to empower individuals and help them create new insights for themselves and build better connections with others.
